Hugely excited to be launching our ski trip for Easter 2019 to Voss Norway.
Fjords, the Northern lights and Voss is the skiing metropolis of Fjord Norway.
With our Sixth Form’s close relationship with Norway, a ski trip to the stunning country was just waiting to happen – and now it will!
The trip will be a once in a lifetime experience, and if you are interested please email Mrs Brian at: firstname.lastname@example.org
This trip is open to present Years 7 to 11, and our new Years 7 and 12 in September.
This will a major trip, just as Quebec Canada was in 2016. If you would like further details at this stage please get in touch.

Monday 26th June from 1.00pm – 3.00pm for external students new to Hayesfield School only
Tuesday 27th June from 8.30am – 3.45pm for ALL students
I wanted to write to inform you that for Term 4 only, we will be offering a Period 6 support session for your Son/Daughter. This will run in addition to the Wednesday Period 6 Sessions that I previously informed you of.
The sessions will run as structured revision sessions and will give the students time to revisit some of the topics from Year 12, Terms 1, 2 and 3. On the lead up to Easter, this will be an excellent opportunity for them to get some dedicated support which will help them achieve the best possible outcome in their Summer examination.
The first few sessions have been scheduled as follows; the last few have been left open so that the students can make suggestions as to what they would like to cover in these sessions.
The programme is as follows:
Carbohydrates: Monday, 20th February 2017
Proteins: Monday, 27th February 2017
Enzymes: Monday, 6th March 2017
DNA (Transcription and translation): Monday, 13th March 2017
It would be wonderful if you could continue to encourage your Son/Daughter to take advantage of both the Wednesday and Monday support sessions.

A very exciting opportunity to ski the week before Christmas this year is offered to the senior students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13. Following our previous three highly successful trips to France, Austria and Canada our destination is Italy, and the stunningly beautiful Dolomites.
This trip will be a fantastic opportunity to learn to ski, or improve your skiing skills, in one of Italy’s premier ski areas, and experience the magical ski area surrounding the elegant town of Madonna di Campiglio. www.campiglio.it/skiarea/

Hayesfield Mixed Sixth Form offers an unique experience that fully prepares students for success at A Levels and for life beyond school. Students receive expert help and guidance on post-18 destinations and gain confidence from the expert knowledge and one-to-one support they receive from their teachers and tutor. Students’ hard work and talent, with the support of our committed staff have led to a tremendous set of results.”
Over one-third of Hayesfield Sixth Formers will take up places at highly selective Russell Group universities places compared with the 7% average for the South West of England. Director of Hayesfield Mixed Sixth Form, Catherine Trueman added “Our average points score per student continue to rise year on year – students have risen to our challenges and high expectations! We are also particularly pleased to see that our BTEC Public Services students achieve 100% Distinction* (equivalent to A* grade at A Level) reflecting their dedication and commitment. Hayesfield is an inclusive Sixth Form, we have students who aim to study at Oxbridge, overseas or secure high-quality apprenticeships.
